Do we really need to train our people on Copilot?
Yes, for two reasons. First, the practical one: without enablement, usage stays low, often only 20 to 30 per cent of licence holders are active in a given week. Training is the lever that turns bought licences into real benefit. The Copilot readiness check tells you where you stand today. Second, the regulatory one: since February 2025 the EU AI Act has required a sufficient level of AI literacy among staff.
What exactly does the EU AI Act require?
Article 4 of Regulation (EU) 2024/1689 requires AI literacy: providers and deployers of AI systems must take measures to ensure, to their best extent, that their staff have a sufficient level of competence, graded by prior knowledge, experience, education and context of use. This applies to all risk classes, so it covers ordinary use of Copilot as well. The obligation has been in force since 2 February 2025. Supervision by the national market surveillance authorities begins on 2 August 2026.
Does this apply to Switzerland too?
As of 2026 Switzerland has no AI law of its own. The EU AI Act can still take effect through the EU connection: it also covers non-EU organisations when the output of their AI systems is used in the EU or when they place AI systems on the EU market. Many Swiss firms with EU business are affected as a result. Whether and exactly how the obligation applies to you is a question for your legal or compliance function. My training helps you meet the competence requirement.
In which formats and languages do you train?
Role-based on-site and online training, e-learning and learning paths, champion enablement, C-level coaching, plus focus topics such as prompting and safe use. We tune the mix to your organisation. Languages and dates we discuss in the free intro call.
Do we get evidence of the training?
Yes. The enablement can be documented, for example through attendance records and learning progress records. That helps you evidence the AI literacy obligation, internally and towards audits. I do not promise conformity, but a traceable basis your compliance function can work with.
Are you a legal adviser?
No, I am not a lawyer. My training helps you meet the AI literacy requirement of the EU AI Act, and it can be documented. The legal assessment of whether and how the rules apply to you stays with you and with your legal or compliance function. I expressly do not claim that a training course makes you legally safe or guaranteed compliant.
