Three simple tricks that finally get your Planner tasks under control, across all your boards, right in your Outlook calendar and in To Do.
See all your Planner tasks in one place
Open this link and save it as a bookmark in your browser: tasks.office.com/Home/Planner/#/userboard
This page shows you every Planner task assigned to you, across all your Planner boards.
Filter out the most important Planner tasks
This tip builds on the previous one. Here is how to do it:
- Use the filter in the top right to show urgent and important only, so you see just the tasks with high and highest priority.
- Group by due date, so tasks are sorted from far left (late) to far right (no date).
- Now deal with the most urgent overdue tasks first and only afterwards with the rest.
Bring Planner tasks into your Outlook calendar
Integrate your Planner tasks into your Outlook calendar so you always know which tasks are due next.
Only those Planner tasks that have a due date will show up in your Outlook calendar.
Bonus tip: Planner tasks in To Do
Your Planner tasks due today appear in To Do under My Day and can be edited right there. Changes are synced back to Planner.
Open this link and you will see all tasks due today from Planner and To Do: https://to-do.office.com/tasks/myday
